The two attendees were great. The bikes seemed cheap and had some issues with scraping brakes and chains that came off from time to time. The scenery was nice, but it did not compare to the rail ride we did on the Oregon Coast 5 years ago. Again, the hosts were very kind and helpful and had a good servant's attitude.

This is a simple yet pretty cool way to take in some nature and to get your family to put down their phones for an hour or so (other than to take pictures).

The Joy Rails ride was unique and fun. Four people to a bike and one rider has an electric assist on their pedals. They can pretty easily pedal the bike by themselves while the other riders are spinning madly. Interesting scenery, you go past an operational plywood mill. Interestingly, there is not really any information provided by the guide on local flora, fauna, history, etc. They adjust the bikes for you, lead the ride, then turn the bikes around at the halfway point. Still, a fun ride and interesting experience.
