The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad & Museum, founded in 1986, preserves Washington State's railroad heritage. It restored the 1916 Baldwin 2-8-2 “Mikado” steam locomotive, Cowlitz, Chehalis & Cascade No. 15, beginning excursions in 1989. Operating over ten miles of the former Milwaukee Road track.
