Joy Rails is located at the tip of a triangle (as the crow flies) that connects Bandon, Coos Bay, and Coquille. You’ll travel along the old coast Hwy 101–now renamed Hwy 42 and 42S.
View the scenic Coquille Valley from the retired rails. Your journey will take you from grassy meadows to coastal forests–providing you with panoramic views of the Coquille Valley. Witness a plywood mill in action as you pedal past the log yard. Admire the local wildlife, which will certainly include songbirds, farm animals, and even a gander of geese at the Coquille Valley Wildlife Refuge.
