Mattox came right out and introduced himself and made us feel welcome. There was another lady there as well, but I don’t believe she mentioned her name, but she was nice and helpful too. The scenery on the ride was not anything spectacular. But we enjoyed the quiet when we were away from the workings of the lumber mill and salvage yard. It was Mattox’s first trip as a guide going solo. No problems. The only issue we had was not knowing that the place to meet them was in the park. Not the vendor’s fault that our GPS took us a bit further than our destination. If our email would have indicated to pull into the park, then we would not have had to call the number provided. Maybe we were too early before the sandwich board sign could get put out. A strong wind could knock the sign down, so adding the park would be a big help to us.
